Hi,

I have Arkeia Network Backup 5.3 that have been working fine since 2005.
Now when I renamed all the clients and the backup server I got this
error when the backup will run:

Arkeia '3' you are limited to '0' standard machines

Anyone that know where I can change this?

You have to delete the old clilent from Arkei config.

As of Version 5.3,bBetter consult the FAQ : "How do I rename a machine
and preserve its license token? "

Hi,

Thank you. Yes I figured that out after a while.
I did first rename all cleints with command /opt/arkeia/bin/arkmvhost
--host oldhost.domain --newhost newhost.domain

And then checked that it was the correct backupsever in the
/opt/arkeia/arkeiad/admin.cfg file on all clients and restarted the
arkeia on all cleints.
I checked the /opt/arkeia/server/dbase/o3dbtree/ directory on the server
and there was the old backupserver name still as an directory. I renamed
it again via the command: /opt/arkeia/bin/arkmvhost and the server only
said that
the database already have a name like that, nothing to update.

But when I deleteted the old backup servername with the command:
/opt/arkeia/bin/arkrmhost it started to work.
