I have a 3 level backup setup, with:
- full backup on Fridays
- differential on Mondays
- incremental on Tuesday-Thursday
I noticed that in some cases, the differential and incremental backups
are backing up things that have not changed since the full backup (I
have files that haven't changed in 5 years that are being backed up
every night). I haven't figured out anything in common; a big source is
an old Cobalt RaQ3 running the Linux glibc2.1 client, but I also see it
on a FreeBSD 6.0 client.
It isn't across the board; I have other Linux hosts that work fine.
Any ideas?

I don't speak for anybody but myself - that's enough trouble.
